How the Works Began

The Works Business Centres began around 5 years ago with the original intention of "build and sell" or "build and lease" adding to the property portfolio of the two shareholders. Nearing completion the team started to assess the market and discovered that whilst the Manchester serviced office sector was fairly well catered for, there was certainly room for another operator.  In particular one that could provide facilities equal to, if not better than its competition, in a modern purpose built building and most importantly at a lower cost than the comparable operators.  Add to this on site secure parking coupled with a location within close proximity to a mainline station, the city centre and principal road network, it appeared a strong proposition and so it has turned out to be.  

Over the years the proposition has been refined and developed to a point where the owners are now looking to expand, with particular focus in the north west.  Wherever possible the intention is to stick to the same model as Manchester incorporating the core principles, namely;

Owner operator status
By owning the building as well as the operating business, client's requirements can be catered for far easier than having to deal with a landlord.

The convenience of being able to park right outside your place of work and of course visitor parking for your guests.

Close to road, rail and public transport infrastructure.

Complement the client identity as opposed to clashing or competing with it.
